We will have open tryouts all year long for ages 7years- 19years. Call 470-785-5841
Level 3 students are performing and competition students only.
Level 2 students are standard that just have a little more work to do in order to move up to the next level.
Level 1 students are beginners that will learn the fundamentals of dance and majorette.
Each student will have a number next to their name.
All new team members must download the Band app with your child‘s picture on the profile. All older students can join the Band along with one parent. Follow the instructions below in the next sections. You will be accepted in the group once the staff is available. All parents will get details on the camp dates and times. All parents will get information about uniforms and anything related to the team. We will communicate fully on the Band. Download only SEDA OF GWINNETT, you will see 4 girls on the picture.

All new parents that will be apart our HBCU majorette team must follow the guidelines below. You must go through summer camp to be on the team.
You must only download your group area.
We are asking for all new parents and students to download the “BAND” app that’s green and white with the letter B in the middle trimmed in white and look for SEDA of Gwinnett. All students and parents will need to upload a picture. We are building up our Gwinnett dance team in the Grayson/Loganville Snellville/lawrenceville area. Email us with your child information and we will contact you for a meeting for a tryout date. Please don’t download the app if you aren’t on the team. You will not be excepted in our group chat. The ages are 7-19years old. No experience needed.

Come meet our majorette coaches Dr. Erica and Coach Meka
Dr. Erica has been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, lyrical, HBCU style and battle style Majorette, Contemporary, Modeling, and Cheerleading. She grow up dancing in all of these different genre. She has worked with a NBA dance/ cheer team doing choreography. Dr. Erica has worked with many coaches from the hit TV show Bring IT! She also is a medical doctor and has a business background. She loves working with children and adults. This will let her pass her knowledge onto her students of all ages through creativity and passion for the love of dance, and laying out a practical foundation and empowering individuals with knowledge of life skills. She has over 40 years of dance experience. She has 20 years of teaching stunt training in Majorette and Cheer. She has taught many children and teams in different states. For many years, she has worked with many schools, teams, and church dance ministries. She has also talked with many youth about life decisions. Dr. Erica has been a mentor for many children. She believes in inspiring young people to make good decisions. She had the opportunity to choreograph for many dance teams. However, Dr. Erica in the past has volunteered teaching dance classes in the Metro Atlanta area on her free time.
Miriam
As a resident of Duluth, Georgia for more than 40 years, Miriam is an active member of her community in multiple facets. Her work in property management for 30 years prepared her well for a career in Real Estate. Miriam is a sough-after Realtor, praised by her clients for her commitment and knowledge of the North Atlanta area. A talented violinist, Miriam performs in the Duluth First Baptist Orchestra, and sat on the board of the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra from 2005-2008. Miriam coached her daughter for 15 years in violin before she was accepted into the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. She is a valuable resource to parents committed to their children’s success.
Debbie, a Texas native. Have lived in Atlanta for (10) years and consider it home. Texas Southern University-Houston/DU graduate. MS Communications. Program Manager. Love gardening, travel, volunteering, and family.

Dr. Amy grow up doing dance and has a passion for young kids. Dr. Amy is also a medical doctor. Dr. Amy and Dr. Erica has traveled throughout the US hosting dance clinics for less fortunate children and adult. Dr. Amy spends her off time with family and friend.
